INITIAL SHARPENING

The first sharpening is essential for removing excess steel and setting a consistent edge angle. Depending on the knife’s condition, this initial process typically takes 5–8 minutes.

After the first sharpening, maintaining a sharp edge takes just 1–2 minutes.
Tips
Apply only light pressure while sharpening, and always use a stable surface such as a kitchen counter or cutting board. For taller knives, place the Home-Shopi Rolling Sharpener on a cutting board to elevate it, ensuring the grinding disc aligns perfectly with the knife’s cutting edge for safe and effective sharpening.
